Your health and happiness mean the world to us, and we want you to feel comfortable and cared for every time you come to Vela. We will be following the Safe Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Here are some of the things to expect on your next visit:
If you are experiencing a persistent cough, chills, or a fever, we request that you cancel or reschedule your appointment.
We are no longer requiring masks to be worn by our staff or clients, please let us know if you would prefer to have your service provider wear a mask during your treatment and we will accommodate.
All staff and clients will have their temperature taken with an infrared/touch-less thermometer before their appointment/shift. If a staff member or client has a fever, the appointment will need to be rescheduled.
An air purifier with HEPA filter will be on in all treatment rooms
We kindly request that anyone that is not receiving a service with us stays home. We can no longer allow guests without a booked service to wait in our lobby.
We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this “new normal” together, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and every client and staff member safe during your visit.
Thank you again for your patronage and ongoing support! We deeply value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to a safe, therapeutic environment.
