SPA COORDINATOR / RECEPTIONIST
Our Spa Coordinator position requires an outgoing, personable, self motivated, honest and reliable person to:
~Answer the phone
~Make appointments/Read and comprehend daily communication log
~Greet clients
~Some light cleaning, involves washing/folding towels and robes.
~Foot Spa Lounge host, earn commission for every service!
Knowledge of massage and healthy lifestyle preferred.
No perfume, please.
Must:
~Be efficient in a fast-paced, multi-tasking position
~Have cash-handling experience
~Be able to work under pressure, problem solve, and work independently without being prompted
~Have excellent phone skills and job references
~ COMPUTER SAVVY A MUST.
~Be punctual
~Be personable with a casual but professional appearance
~Have a car or live within walking distance
Vela is a peaceful, wonderful environment to work in, but it is a lot of juggling between clients and our massage therapists/Estheticians. Not a lot of idle time or sitting around.
MASSAGE THERAPISTS
Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of our team. Please note, we are only hiring persons skilled in deep tissue therapies. This means you are capable of working at a deeper level in the muscle tissue with an informed touch. We are seeking persons that know muscle names, location, and how to work slowly and specifically. We require 3 massage interviews and do not hire everyone we interview. If you do not have the strength, knowledge, or desire to apply strong but nurturing pressure in a safe and effective manner, you are likely not a match for the position.
ESTHETICIANS
We are seeking a personable, easy going, Esthetician with a passion for organic and natural skin care. Our current product line is ISUN.
Skills/Requirements we are seeking:
Must be available weekends
Passion for natural skin care
Must be trained/skilled in waxing services
Prefer you to be able to provide Brazilian waxing services
Microdermabrasion knowledge
Clean and organized
Some massage knowledge a plus
